Ramadan Series - Beef & Broccoli 🥦 The way I have been craving beef & broccoli for the last few months has not been normal! I’m so glad I decided to make it at HOME! It was delicious! Make sure you watch full video for a surprise guest 😂 If you are participating in the fast, How was DAY 2 of fasting for you today?  Beef & Broccoli Recipe 🧑🏾‍🍳 Season your beef with  - 1 tbsp soy sauce  - 2 tbsp hoisin sauce  - 1 tbsp sesame oil  - 3 tbsp corn starch  - 1 tbsp baking soda  - Fresh Ginger - Fresh Garlic Sauce  - 1.5 cups chicken broth  - 3 tbsp soy sauce  - 3 tbsp hoisin sauce  - 1 tbsp sesame oil  - Black pepper  - 1 spoon brown sugar  - Leftover garlic and ginger  Corn starch slurry to thicken your gravy  - 3 tbsp corn starch  - 2 tbsp water Directions 1. Thinly slice your flank steak into bite size pieces  2. Season with the above ingredients  3. Let sit for 2-3 hrs or overnight for best results  4. For your broccoli, (I like mine soft so I cook them in boiling hot water for 5 mins, add Broccoli once water is fully boiled, after 5 mins I set it aside)  5. In a hot pan, add in high heat oil, then add in your beef and let cook for 5-7 mins  6. Set beef aside  7. In a hot skillet add in your sauce (ingredients listed above), corn starch slurry, let cook for 2-3 mins, then add in your beef and broccoli and let it cook for and additional 5 mins 8. Serve with white rice & enjoy 🧑🏾‍🍳 Tips: I did not let my meat sit and marinate, so it was not as tender as I would have liked it to be. Prep and let it sit for at least 2hrs for best results. Also add more cornstarch than I did in this video! Way more lol!
