I don’t do ballet, but I tippy toe for 11 years and I got Heel cord, lengthening surgery, two years ago. I hated it and then I ended up hating my doctor after that lol.

I stood like how they are in pointe my entire life. I was a toe walker. Had achillies lengthening surgery to fix it

Thanks to this I wore heels and walked for 3 hours without feeling pain my parents were amazed how it didn’t hurt

Ballet weakened my right ankle because I was young and didn’t know to stay off the foot means to stay off of it or it will never heal properly and my ankle never healed right 😞😞😞
