My aunt and uncle who travel A LOT will bring clothes they planned on donating with them to underprivileged countries and donate to local charities. It empties their suitcases for stuff they buy.

This can be good for places that aren’t an island, we have 1 landfill here that’s a mountain, tbh dontatiin places here are always max capacity so unless they’re shipping elsewhere, this will end up

When I went to Uganda on a Gorilla trek at the end we gave all our gloves and hiking sticks to the guides and they were super happy.
