I admit I love Starbucks. I have not found a small shop that comes close to the quality. However, the Nespresso Machine with McCormick Chai Tea..and oat milk. Perfect @ 1/4 th cost.

But for me, the corner coffee shop didn’t exist before Starbucks. Unless you call 7:11 a coffee shop. Indeed mom and pop shops opened subsequently after Starbucks created a market - in my area.

My friend works for Starbucks and she says she gets great health insurance. So they think of their employees. I get a really good tasting coffee and a comfortable space to enjoy. Love Starbucks

Sadly the mobile ordering is what keeps me. The fact that I'm spending 30 secs to 2 mins in the store is the best. No waiting in long lines, no ipad flip over asking for a tip... Just in and out.

The local coffee shops where I live are lowkey the same if not more expensive for smaller sizes. I prefer to support local coffee shops shops but sometimes it’s hard with prices

Local coffee shops don’t have enough turnover to keep coffee fresh so now I’m turned off by the stale coffee that’s same price and they expect me to tip because they are taking time away from serving

The BEST health insurance I ever had was when I was a Starbucks barista. And when I needed to move states I was transferred to a new store seamlessly.
