I didnt understand what heartburn was until i was like 25. Ive had it on and off since i was a teen. But i literally thought it was something different because i couldnt relate to how its depicted.

THIS! I had foot pain I could only describe as ripping/tearing and they just wouldn't get it and kept asking if it was "dull or hot" no! It's like ripping! Listen to my woooorrdssss 😭

When I was a kid with a sore throat, my mom asked what it felt like and I said it feels like a bunch of x’s in my throat. She still talks about it lol. I think it makes sense!

I went for jaw pain and trouble closing my mouth and told them it’s like when u push a screen door before the the door stop fully releases and they knew what I meant, gave me a wierd look tho
