maybe for w small solo plane yes but a commercial air craft might work differently. pertty sure it had defrost on the wings for long flight.

hes right, as it is rare this happens but every time they do get in line for dicing spray and they blow off the snow. if ice freezes on the wing and doesn't let the flaps move.. down she goes
