When you turn on the defroster, it automatically engages the A/C compressor to remove the humidity from the vehicle.

I have a 2025 Palisade when I turn my starter with my keyboard it turn the A/C and defroster automatically. I thought something was wrong but is the to defrost windshield.

in the freezing cold, turn the heater on high with the aircon on. it defrosts in seconds and it is also a much more comfortable interior heat.
