when i was in foster care 07-2010 there was a wall in the local mall where cps put pics and bios on kids available for adoption, and our workers would berate us if we weren't good enough to be posted

It's so sad. As someone with a limited income, but great circumstances to be an at-home parent, adoption is totally out of reach. No bio kids for me due to health concerns, but older kids or teens..😔

my grams was adopted twice. the first couple adopted her, not her twin brother though, when they were born. she was brought back at 3 years old when the man lost his job. then adopted again at 6

My town in Aus is having issues over the ethics of fb listings for pound pets without following up adequately if they are homed happily or returned quietly(withowners allowed to get another pet after)

When my adoptive parents told me my bio mom died as a kid they got mad I was sad and tried to get rid of me and even called cps seeing if they could put me in foster care.
