Jalapeño Cheddar Bagels 🌶️🧀🥯these are so easy and they get you some added protein since they are made with Greek yogurt! I eat these for breakfast with some eggs on them or you can even make a sandwich for lunch! Ingredients 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup low/non-fat Greek yogurt 2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1-2 small jalapeño peppers, deseeded if preferred 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, plus more to top Directions Preheat oven to 400 F and dice half the jalapeño and thinly slice the other half. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking powder then add in the Greek yogurt and mix. I usually use my hands towards the end and add more flour if too sticky. Add in the diced jalapeno with 1/2 cup shredded cheddar. Fold in the dough to incorporate the cheese and jalapeno and roll into a ball Split in 4 equal parts and roll a strand and pinch together to form a bark. Place the bagels on a parchment lined baking sheet. Lightly brush each one with the whisked egg. Top each bagel with 2-3 pieces of the sliced jalapeno, then sprinkle a little extra shredded cheese on top. Bake the bagels for about 18-22 minutes, until the tops are brown. #breakfast homemade, easy breakfast, food, homemade bagels
