My cat treats me like a sibling. When she was younger we’d run around together, she’d groom me, play together and she’d sleep on me. I try to socialize her but she beats up the other cats 😕

We have a neighbour cat that stops by, they aren’t super close but they nap together and fight sometimes. My cat spends most nights out catching bugs, so I feel less bad about not playing with him. He grew out of his toys I feel and we have a good routine together. I hope I’m enough but I wonder if he needs a friend 🥰

Not true. Had two cats, brothers. One dominant and one submissive. The dominant was so jelous and mean to the other cat, that he chased him, wouldnt let me cuddle him accept when he himself slept.

I do only have one and at some point in the future I will get a second. I dedicate a lot of time for just her and me. We nap together. We “groom” each other. And ofc I made sure she has plenty of toys

my cat was a lockdown kitten all alone who's mother passed. shes got 3 huge cat trees, a whole cat wall, playtime before every meal, and leashed walks daily and catio access..1

My tip: Be besties. I treat her like some people treat their dogs. We go on walks, small trips together, chill, have conversations, etc.

I’ve had one who sadly passed away this year and now have had two for a few months and they don’t groom each other or nap together (ps: just my current experience, not disagreeing on two or more)

play.play.play. pets, scritches. I made a 'busy box' with torn scrunched up paper bags in a box - sprinkle some treats in. she loves to 'forage' for them.

My cat is a single cat and he would hate another cat because he’s so jealous but what we do instead is take him on walks and we’ve introduced him to dogs and other animals my family have and he enjoys

I am very fortunate to be able to work from home most of the week. I give my kitty cat the attention she needs, plenty of cat trees, and I discovered what toys she loves so she have many of those

We had two cats for the longest time and couldn't stand each other. When the male one died, the female one finally was at rest and she blossomed. Always get one cat first and see if they like others🥰
