I was in church last night, and the pastor asked us to imagine the most naturally beautiful place we’ve ever been to. Of course, I thought of Hawaii. I thought about the feeling of being out at Hanalei Bay at sunset, surfing perfect glassy longboard waves while looking over at the glorious mountains and just feeling the breath taken out of my lungs because of how jaw-droppingly gorgeous it is. Then the pastor asked us to imagine — that's how God sees us. Just as we see His creation. He sees us as that beautiful. It's such a deep and undeniable unconditional love that can barely be explained in words. So here is my yearly Earth Day post, but instead of glorifying His creation (which I always will and do), I’m instead making this about glorifying our Creator. Our God made mountains, seas, flowers, and trees just so that we could witness His glory. From the grandest scenes to even just noticing Him on our daily walks in our neighborhood, is all it really takes. 🕊️🙏🏼
