Why my IUD removal failed today. Have has endless issues since having the copper coil put in with excruciating stomach cramps, displacement, lost strings or the IUD moving out of place but after 2 years worth of ultrasounds, appointments, scans and test - was always told everything was fine. Finally tried to make an appointment to remove it and replace it with the Mirena and had a nervous feeling it wouldn’t go to plan… and it didn’t but that’s ok! Couldn’t be more grateful to the NHS team who looked after me, explained all the next steps, timings and the different options to expect and now we wait. Laura McClure held the censored photo of herself, explaining to the House that it took her less than five minutes to make it online.
