I will admit to being embarrassed to post something like this especially online with people on here who know me. However, I’m just coming on here to be vulnerable—not to seek pitty, but because sometimes it takes one person willing to be honest about their own struggles for someone else to finally feel seen. I think there is so much beauty in learning how to be alone without feeling lonely. That journey is not easy, and it does not happen overnight. There are moments where the silence feels overwhelming, where you wonder why you feel so far away from everyone else. But sometimes God uses those quiet seasons to remind us that our identity was never meant to be built solely on who stays, who chooses us, or who understands us. Our walk with Jesus was never promised to be easy. In fact, we are told that there will be trials, struggles, and moments where our faith is tested. That is why we stand by faith and not by feelings. Because our feelings can change from one moment to the next, but the faithfulness of God never does. And still, it is okay to feel tired. It is okay to feel like giving up. It is okay to admit that some days are harder than others. We are human. We were never expected to walk through this life without feeling the weight of it. Because truthfully, it is hard to live a life of faith when it feels like no one understands it. It is hard to choose a path that others may not agree with or want to walk alongside you on. It is hard when your mind convinces you that you have absolutely no one. But the truth is, we are never truly alone. Even in the moments where it feels like every person has walked away, we still have a Heavenly Father who knows us completely. He knows the parts of us we hide from the world. He knows our fears, our doubts, our pain, our hopes, and every tear we have cried. He knows us better than anyone else ever could, and His presence is not dependent on our circumstances. So if you are in a season where you feel alone, where you feel unseen, or where you are struggling to keep going, I hope you know that you are not the only one.
