@carlneedsajob: plants produce such an interesting texture. especially when they start to dry & splint & splinter. I could’ve just drawn the mushroom stipe & cap, but i wouldn’t have been able to capture the spontaneity that printing does. - regular drawing is pretty cathartic though & I love to practice it. but I love the gamble of printing. i can never foresee the outcome of a piece when I print it.
