I have mine in a money market account through my regular bank. Interest rate may be a bit lower but the money is easier to access if need be. I still gained $1000 in interest since opening in June.

for everyone saying to put savings in a brokerage, that’s not what savings are for. you save money for one reason, invest it for another. you should not risk your emergency savings in the stock market
