and not to mention, it's not as easy to say 'well then stuff will be made here'. using that baking analogy, now that bakery will have to buy ingredient, equipment, and pay labor.

even if the non tariffed baker doesn't raise his price nothing is getting cheaper. that's best case cause chances are some ingredient comes from another city.
