My dad was laid off during 2008 & I remember parents going to many different lawyers to decide their best option. They ended up filing for bankruptcy to try & save our house but we ended up moving

Damn, thats about what we paid for our house in 2022, and we were told we were lucky the house was even livable in the condition it was in. 😩 1850’s farmhouse. We’ve gained about 60k in equity tho.
