My father insisted he be fed first. After he was incarcerated, my grandmother’s rule was kids eat first, then disabled, then able bodied adults can get their own plate.I still follow my gma’s rules 😂

This is a case-by-case sorta thing. In my family, my dad will sometimes be the one to handle cleaning up after a meal while other times we clean up our own plate

man baby should pick up after himself, too- otherwise he's setting a bad example for the kids and they get resentful. he is a parent, too and should also be putting the kids first along with mom.

they should be treated differently, i would expect a lot more out of my partner than my children. we should be teaching them lessons together, & our examples are in the way we treat each other
