Take the mortgage out, having it in makes is seem way scarier. Also, look at your interest rate too, it may make more sense to invest money vs paying off the house quicker.

Am I the only one that doesn’t really count a mortgage in “debt”? lol I mean I think I’d be pretty good if the only debt I had was my mortgage. Card credit cards etc that seems more reasonable

you know the mortgage tip? set it up for payment every two weeks (coinciding with your payday). you save big on interest, which pays loan faster. plus one bonus payment per year. 25 payments (not 24)
