Adding this to my go-to’s when I need to impress people at a gathering. 😅 Used recipe by @thebestcakerecipes 🤎 * 16-20 ounces pound cake FOR THE APPLES: * 6 cups chopped Granny Smith apples * 1/2 cup brown sugar  * ¼ cup white sugar  * 4 tablespoons salted butter * 1 tablespoon cinnamon  FOR THE CHEESECAKE FILLING: * 16 ounces cream cheese  * 4 tablespoons salted butter  * 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar  * 1 teaspoon vanilla  * 2 cups heavy cream OTHER LAYERS: * 2 1/2 cups caramel sauce * 1 1/3 cups chopped pecans  PREPARE THE CAKE: * Cut the pound cake into cubes. Set aside. PREPARE THE APPLES: * Peel and core apples. * Squeeze lemon on them as you go to prevent browning. * Chop into bite-sized pieces. * In a pan with high sides, add sugar, butter and cinnamon. * Cook over low-medium heat for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently until melted. * Add apples. * Continue to stir and cook for about 12-14 minutes, until softened. The exact timing will depend on how big the apple pieces are. * Set aside to cool. PREPARE THE CHEESECAKE FILLING: * In a stand mixer, blend the cream cheese and butter together for 1 minute or until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Blend for an additional 1 minute until smooth.
