I use to go with my family back in the 80s for barbecues, now it's way too packed. Signs always say it's closed due to overpacked.

Royal National Park is in southern Sydney which is nice and good to visit as you would have to get there early as it gets busy in summer

Years back around 2017 we drove 1.5 hours in the heat to get there only to be turned away by National Parks saying the var park was full. so ripped off.
