@safesupportyp: For over 30 years The Safety Centre charity has been supporting schools by delivering preventative, lifesaving education at our education centre Hazard Alley and directly into classrooms. Our ‘Empower and Challenge’ education programme aims to create another space, alongside the work schools are already doing, to help young people understand their right to feel safe in public spaces by raising awareness of public sexual harassment. As well as normalising talking about these difficult topics, our programme seeks to encourage students to feel a part of the solution to this problem by helping them understand and challenge the harmful attitudes and stereotypes that underpin it.
