HUGE ACCESSIBILITY NEWS 🎉 Have you heard this exciting news about accessible air travel? Wheelchair spaces are set for approval in 2025 on airplanes.  I wanted to share this news and make it super easy to understand. So what is the update? The key point is that the FAA is going to be signing off on safety restraints within 2025 and without that sign-off on the safety restraints, you’re not going to be able to go to the next action which is where the DOT will actually require all the airlines to have these seats available, and then we’ll see them actually come to the market. So this is a critical point and we have the FAA actually issuing a statement that they expect this will happen. They’re creating that public statement so that is huge. Advocates have been working on this for a long time and I want to shout them out. The post I’m sharing comes from these awesome advocates. I will tag them in the caption. Follow @rightsonflights for more updates like this. There are lots of people that have been advocating for change for a long time.  Accessibility is a human right! When these seats do exist, they need to be affordable as well. What do you think about this exciting accessibility update? I feel like we really need to celebrate ✈️ P.S.
