I always have my manual in the back pocket to show rules too! still have people argue that it somehow magically doesn't apply to the exact situation on the field... it's the same in the book

well technically if the fielder is in front of the runner and missed fielding the ball, the runner is not out. happens alot in younger softball games

So I mean this question honestly… a lot of times in younger softball in particular the infielders play way in front of the runners. If the ball gets past the infielders and incidentally makes contact with the runner after that, is it still runner’s interference?
