I had a customer make a front door 3 inches thick solid oak !!! When you open and close door you actually have to use a lil muscle it doesn’t move that easy.

Make sure you use longer screws on hinges and strike plate.

and put 6" or longer screws thru all the hinges, use 3 or more hinges add a dead bolt at the top n bottom, no outside key and a 4x4...but they go thru windows then
