As I tell my patients.. do not blame yourself. Very common with PCOS and completely manageable. Meet with a local CDCES or endocrinologist.. you are such an incredible Mom!

try to focus more on protein and veggies!! And if you are eating sugars (both refined and even things like fruit!), try to “line” your stomach with protein or veg first to help slow the glucose spike

Just try to eat healthier. Avoid sugars and maybe processed foods, no fried foods, sugars, energy drinks, sodas, juices, because fruits can also be bad for us, so avoid them for a while... +

I was pre-diabetic for 3 years. Just this year I was able to reverse it. So there’s definitely hope! I add movement everyday and try to eat little processed foods. I still enjoy every once in a while.

Dietitian here! The simplest tip is to build your plate with 1/2 non starchy vegetables, 1/4 protein and 1/4 carb source. Try and pair a carb and protein together, it’ll digest slower and help you man

Intermittent fasting definitely helps. I went lower carbs (not no carbs), lots of protein and veggies, increase fat. 6 months, will see the difference

coating the stomach with a protein prior to natural or refined sugars is super helpful. Also, avoid your “white” foods like white pasta, white bread, ect. And try to switch to whole grain or chickpea!

I have PCOS and am prediabetic as well! Get a continuous glucose monitor and monitor yourself for a couple months! You’ll be able to better identify what foods are triggering you.
