Low Carb Creamy Bacon Chicken with Asparagus - 1/2 Cup Real Bacon Crumbles (or 6 slices bacon) - 1/2 onion - 2 lb chicken breast - 3/4 cup Chicken Broth (low sodium) - 1/2 cup heavy cream - 1 lb Asparagus, washed and trimmed - 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese - extra bacon crumbles for garnish - Slice chicken in half lengthways so it’s thinner - Heat butter or oil in a pan or skillet on medium heat - Season chicken to your liking. I use garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper - Cook on each side until temp reaches 165 - remove chicken - melt down 2 tbsp butter and sauté sliced or chopped onions until soft, add bacon crumbs - once bacon is crispy, add broth and heavy cream.
