Every boat I’ve ever seen has a tell tail discharge to see if it’s pumping water.

On alpha drives the seawater pump is in the drive like a normal outboard lower unit. On a hose you will see if it sucks or does not suck water.

every 3 years you should change the water pump, now you gotta fish for all the impeller. Ah the laziness and the lack of knowledge of owning a boat love it. Hey it makes me more money in the long run

Outside in Peller pump is bad, but I wouldn’t mind the flashlight that’s nice I wish you were close to you. I would love to just see your shop. Thank you for all you do.

Pull the lower off and inspect its 4 nuts 2 bolts and the trim arm axle. Manufacturer recommends every 2 years for an Alfa

Interesting way to do that needs an impeller and if it came apart better pull the coolers off and get the pieces out and if in a sandy place people suck up sand and plug everything

There is a hose that goes through the transom assembly and collapses restricting water flow to the suction of the sea water pump. Could be that or any number of sea water circuit issues !
