@evanadelune: ✨ Thank You for an Incredible Year of Dance and Connection! ✨ To everyone who came and danced with me this year – thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💖 Being a dance teacher is one of the greatest privileges of my life. There’s a kind of magic in watching your students light up when trying something new, nailing choreography, or finding your unique expression. Week after week, I’ve seen so many of you discover confidence, joy, and love for yourselves – and it’s been the most rewarding experience to witness. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of teaching over 3,000 students, and this year alone, I’ve led 46 workshops across Australia and New Zealand! That’s 46 times I’ve had the joy of meeting incredible humans, hearing your laughter, sharing in your triumphs, and seeing the spark that burlesque ignites within you. Burlesque saved me during some of the darkest times in my life. For over a decade, I battled depression and mental illness, feeling like I’d lost myself. But stepping into this world reminded me of the power of joy – the joy that comes from expressing myself, and more importantly, from seeing that same joy reflected in others. This community we’ve built together isn’t just about dance or the costumes (as fabulous as they are); it’s about creating space for love, confidence, and self-discovery. You’ve given me a place to do what I love and made me feel so loved in return. I wouldn’t be here without every single one of you – your trust, your energy, and your belief in what we create together. So, thank you. For showing up. For trying. For laughing.
