@tabathajones6: I did a thing! ➰ . One thing y’all always did was compliment the hell out of my brown hair! I loved the color, but I was overdue for a change. . . I dyed my hair Jet Black using two boxes of the @darkandlovely dye. I followed the directions on the box. The instructions said to start applying the dye at the roots, but I needed to start at the ends since that’s where most of the color change was happening. . . I let the dye set for a total of 30 minutes, including the time I spent applying it to my locs. I washed my hair in the shower, using a TON of shampoo and deep conditioner && My locs are STILL in perfect condition! . . To achieve this wavy look, I braided my hair from root to ends and used perm rods to curl the tips. Braid-outs are my least favorite because they’re so time-consuming, but I did a thing this time, and I LOVE THE LOOK! I don’t think I’ll ever dye my locs any other color but black.
