Private health is useless for any chronic conditions. I have chronic pain, I need physio once a week and multiple check ups with a rheumatologist, pain specialist and imaging twice a year. PH doesn’t even cover half of the apts I’d need in a year but I’ll be paying $200 mthly for it. I’m better off just paying out of pocket

I spend $300+ a month on private health that barely covered endo. It’s atrocious - it’s cheaper to suffer.

I cancelled my private health, doesn't cover my psychiatrist, my neurologist, my child's paediatrician, my child's hematologist. If it covered these things I would get it again but it doesn't

I’ve had private health since I was 21. The public system actually has a lot of limitations. Great for emergencies, but often no choice but go private for elective.

Yeah this is wrong, you maybe be “covered” but when you go into hospital for surgery you will have large out of pocket expenses and no surgeon medigaps anymore. This is what they don’t tell you
