Everyone has different relationships with their parents. I actually felt free for the first time at age 50 when my mom passed. Doesn't mean I didn't love her but I'm not sure about ever healing.

I had hatred towards my mother she died in 2023 and we just started building a relationship again but do you know who honestly got affected the most at the end? Me.. My mom wasn't perfect in the beginning but at the end she tried and that's what counted. 😢 always forgive family cause one day they won't be there.

I’m usually happy and positive. I still remember when my sister passed, I was surprisingly angry that day. I felt like punching the light pole out the hospital thinking I wanted to break it. I get it.
