I was 14 when I lost my first calf... i moved into the barn trying to nurse him back to health. We spent his last 3 days together. I love and hate being a farmer 💔

I had one kept him going for a week , meds , electrolytes, heat , and still lost him. It never gets easier even when you have done everything to save them for sure.

Grew up on a small farm in Ohio. The babies I lost 💔. Did not, in any way, harden my heart or get me accustomed to the loss. 😢 Always keep trying
