well in my area the anesthesiologist are a monopoly group that charged 2-3x the rate insurance pays so it always ends up being an 1-3k overage i have to pay...

When I had emergency surgery and almost had my leg amputated my insurance denied $2800 for anesthesia because it wasn’t considered a “necessity” 💀 alriiiiiighty

This will have the surgeons over estimate the time now. I had a hernia surgery, was suppose to be 60 mins and ended up being 90 mins.

My daughter had oral surgery and had to have anesthesia and it was ordered by surgeon. Was denied after surgery and been fighting with BCBS ever since.
