Exactly. Tip is based on service. Not doing your actual job.. I.E.. ringing up my food.. bagging it.. and me taking it home. If im at a sit down restaurant gave me good service.. you get a tip

Unfortunately a lot of payment systems like square put it in the system and there’s nothing stores and such can do to have it taken away. Most stores and such don’t expect it at all

Dude, no kidding!! My husband and I used to tip 20-30% at restaurants, and always at Starbucks and small businesses. Now we tip 10-15% (15% if they’re stellar) and NEVER for counter service. Ever.
