Can’t ever have French Toast normally anymore because this has ruined it for us, it’s SO GOOOD!!! 🤩 Located in Shinjuku, a small cozy, intimate cafe so be prepared to wait in line, we were lucky as there was no line when we arrived but when we left there was a whole line up the stairs. 😅 This was also our first intro to Japanese Matcha, and definitely don’t think this was an accurate representation. Although delicious, it was pretty much a shot of matcha covered with whip cream, super delicious, sweet and warm but not the matcha we expected haha! 🙂‍↕️ The French Toast on the other hand is AN ABSOLUTE BANGER!!! Shut the gates, it is just so sO SO GOOOD!! It was so soft and fluffy, like a Soufflé Pancake, but still maintains the bread / toast texture and had hints of custard and vanilla with each bite, it’s something you just gotta taste to believe it!!! 😍 Honestly you could have this on its own without the side sweet sauces, it’s perfect as a standalone French toast, but if you do want to add, the caramel drizzled over whip cream is our choice! 👍 For the price, THIS IS A MUST TRY!!
