It's not burning the paper, receipt paper reacts to heat, so it should accurately reveal how much the heat protectant blocks heat

She blow dries the protectants first, so the “water” argument is invalid. While paper may not be hair, this thermal paper does a good job of showing how well different heat protectants actually (1/2)

can you explain further? it isn't paper burning. it's thermal paper reacting to the heat that's allowed through by the product -- so assuming you're correct, why is it reacting if your product works?
