I feel like a broken record but it is beyond ridiculous the amount of posts I see on a daily basis that are promoting fat loss via exercise/cardio alone. And people believe it. All the time. If your goal is to build muscle, yes, you want to do cardio AFTER lifting. Not before. Your energy should go towards lifting weights first, not cardio. If your goal is endurance, then start with cardio. But what cardio won’t do, whether you do it before or after training, is melt off your fat. I wouldn’t really say fat just melts off anyway lol. Even with a calorie deficit, losing body fat takes time, patience and consistency. It doesn’t happen overnight. It doesn’t happen in a couple weeks. It takes months. And for some, years. But if you tell people that, they’re automatically discouraged. Which I’ve never really understood because time is going to pass no matter what, so why not use that time to improve your health each daily?? In order to lose body fat anywhere, you MUST be in a negative energy balance. You also must be disciplined, patient and willing to put in the hard work. *as always, no hate to the creator.
