This is so interesting! I am a vivid visualizer but I’m an auditory learner. I tend to leave my character descriptions very ambiguous while diving deep psychologically.

Worth noting that it depends on the hierarchy of characters from the author’s perspective. E.g. Achilles is described in a lot more detail as he’s made to be the focal point

I seem to write the exact opposite of you. When I write focus on the environment the temperature of the room, the lighting, the sounds before even thinking of dialouge. Maybe that’s why 1/2

I tend to see it like I’m watching a movie however I do sometimes have a hard time picturing their faces. I do feel like too much detail makes it harder for me to see it… then I get bored.
