put the paper towel over the wax and use a blow dryer on it the napkin will absorb the wax

Get a hair dryer, a mini one would work, place a paper towel on top of the wax and slowly heat it. It will help removal be easier

Museum gel looks like a good product, but you can totally clean off museum wax with a little effort. That said, I would totally switch to the gel if I ever needed a product like this

I had museum gel and it was the worse! It never kept things standing because the temperature of my room was too warm it just kept melting in the winter :/
