CPSTI here! Harness straps need to be at or below his shoulders. The top tether routes under the head rest between the posts (not over it). Evenflo recommends seat belt installation over lower anchors

I don’t have the extend but I do have this car seat and I hate it! I hate it so much it’s not in my car anymore! You will get to a point where it’s will stick like it doesn’t wanna lock or unlock one

Loveeee this car seat! But I think the part zipped on the bottom is a foot rest for forward facing. Just makes it hard to turn rear facing with it on.

Just keep an eye on the smart sensor. Our little guy figured out real quickly how to undo it and we ended up replacing it with a seat without the sensor.
