As a Moroccan i stoped exfoliating a long time ago dead skin cells give extra protection don’t remove it soap and water everyday then lotion that’s enough

Isnt the "loofah harboring bacteria" thing already debunked? You're using antibacterial soap and letting it dry between use. It's like washing clothes.
