🚨 Down Here ⬇️ One thing that really helped me in my journey was adding in bite sized nourishment, like nourishing drinks. Coming from someone who use to be addicted to pop and coffee (I drank it all day long), this was a big deal, and helped me make sustainable steps that I could stick to! This is an example of what’s in Beat the Burnout’s Cortisol Cheatsheet — doors are open for a limited time if you’re interested. With the cream of tartar we are looking to help nourish our adrenal glands — that can get bogged down by chronic stress. ▫️ Cream of Tartar simply is a ‘good source’ of potassium, which is an added bonus for nourishing our adrenals. ▫️ The key players to help nourish our adrenals are: Vitamin C, Potassium, and Sodium! Here’s an adrenal mocktail recipe I love: ◽️ 1/2-3/4 cup orange juice or 1/2 cup water + 1/2 squeezed juice of orange ◽️ pinch of sea salt ◽️ I add 1/4 cup coconut milk, but can use any milk that works for you ◽️ ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar Optional: ◽️ 1/2 cup coconut water ▫️ can add collagen as well High stress = increased adrenal “work” like cortisol (our stress hormone), DHEA, adrenaline. This means an increase burn 🔥 rate of nutrients to make these hormones. We can start to feel wired, yet tired, fatigue, issues falling asleep, 3 am wake-up and feeling STRESSED OUT all the time!
