@lady.churro: Joan, now in her twenties alongside her sisters and brother-in-laws, is getting ready for a nice party at Mikey’s place. * * Joan needed help picking out a dress. So she goes to her girlfriend Ruby and asks for her opinion. Red dress or black dress? * * Ruby, a bubbly red bird yokai, is very much in love. So instead of helping, she insists that Joan is beautiful not matter what. Dress color doesn’t matter. * * Joan gets a little irked by this and insists that Ruby choose her dress. When the extra push didn’t help, Joan turned to someone else for help. Leo. * * Leo and Janet were at Joan’s place getting ready with them. Leo and Joan are great friends at this point so Joan trusts his judgment. * * While putting on his eyeliner, Leo picks the black dress. It’s classy. Red gave off the wrong vibe. Joan thanks him for his input. * * Been wanting to use this sound for a while. This was so fun to draw. I’ve always been a little anxious about drawing Ruby; because of her beak. But I finally figured out how to draw it so I used this sound as an excuse to show her off. And yes, her design is loosely based off of Stolas. His design is why she’s a bird in the first place. * * Also wanted to highlight Joan’s friendship with Leo.
