I love hiking and there’s no question about it that the dolomites is FULL of stunning hikes, but it’s also full of amazing viewpoints you can reach with little/no hiking at all 💫 Here are a few of my favourites and some info about them 1. Lago di Braies - it’s a classic and needs no introduction, if you’re up for it there’s a very lovely walk you can do around the lake that takes about one hour 2. Passo Gardena - you can park right at the top and get great views over the valley 3. Santa Maddalena - famous for it’s little church, but also a stunning valley (especially at sunset!) 4. Alpe di Siusi - here you can walk as much or as little as you’d like as it’s a wide open meadow (also depending on where you’d park) 5. Seceda - there are amazing hiking options here but if you’d like to just see the “classic view” you can get the cable car all the way up, the cable car is also a lot of fun! 6. Lago di Carezza - known for it’s reflections of the trees/mountains on the water, makes for a pretty photo spot in the dolomites 7. Lago di Misurina - the famous “hotel” that’s actually an old children’s hospital can make lovely reflections on the water 8. Cadini di Misurina - listen, this is a VERY small hike and it’s so so worth it! Takes about 40 minutes for one of the best views in the dolomites 9. Lago Antorno - absolutely iconic photo spot for the sunset, we had some ducks ruining the perfectly still reflection and a lot of photographers getting annoyed with them and I loved the ducks for that 10. Passo delle Erbe - as a hike (sass de putia) it’s arguably my favourite in the dolomites, but epic views can be seen also right from the car park! #dolomites #dolomiti #italymountains #travel #dolomitestravelguide - @thechaosdiaries
