@svenandrobbie: Happy to report that brushing teeth is getting easier. Why did we start brushing our cat’s teeth? We should have started from the beginning, but it was a daunting task. Nevertheless we have learned a difficult lesson with Sven’s dental health. He was favoring his left side. It seems like he may have a plaque allergy that is causing his gums to be inflamed and painful to eat. We are trying to brush daily to help ease some of that inflammation. Hopefully this will help down the line too with fewer extractions and overall better dental health. We are no longer using Plaque Off because his thyroid levels showed an increased, but Robbie and Louise still gets it. Sven will continue to get dental treats and an annual cleaning in between his daily brushing. #catmom #catmomlife #catlife #cathealth #catdental #talkingcat #catmeow
