@stlzoo: Ever heard a takin talkin'? Watch Sichuan takin, Yadi make a series of deep bellows on a recent snowy day at the Zoo. The takin is a relative of the musk ox native to Western China. They are usually quiet animals, but they do make different calls, snorts and noises to communicate with their herd. Yadi often vocalizes to his caretakers when he sees them coming or is excited for his breakfast!
