As a person who lives in the third world, I cannot understand how US health insurance works. Even in my country we have more benefits and everything is covered with the same payment.

As soon as my Dad got sick with cancer, his insurance dropped him. Insurance he had paid into for 33 years. So yeah, fk that guy. Karma is catching up.😒

My mom was denied the cancer treatment her oncologist wanted her to have for 2.5 yrs. We were at the funeral home when we got the call that insurance had approved it and we could start immediately.

In Germany I pay about 30€ for ALL my diabetes meds in 3 months. Batteries and such not included but I guess I could apply for those. America is a Fever dream. And I am so sorry for your loss.

My mom passed from cancer last year. Much of her care was declined because it "wasn't necessary." The scans, her medicine, etc. These companies are absolutely disgusting. Sending love & hugs. 💜
