I grew up with starline and James way top unload then switched to bags, since moving off the home farm to another small dairy, I will say the climbing was replaced by forking on the bunk

we have 40 foot harvestore built in 1950 it is still standing today along side our other 2 harvestores. it was the first one in our county.

we had one that was dismantled and moved to the farm in 1990 and it was old then! once it was put back up it was only used 2 years then abandoned
