I believe there's more to being a racing driver than just raw speed. He could have been shaped into a great F1 driver but didn't want to and was seen as too much of a risk

Great documentary about Byrne. He was a loose cannon. Ended up being so cocky no one wanted anything to do with him.

I believe senna was bought out of a contract or similar the manager pondering what ge should do to replace him senna suggested tommy replace him i believed they lived togeather

Met Tommy in America in 1989/90 Indy tracks, I worked for espn & the only Irish on the crew, Tommy arrived in the office. I’m from Castleblayney craic was great . Charismatic & talented. Great guy
